We are thrilled to be working with a highly respected grower and processor of berries as they seek to appoint a new Head of Farming. This business is regarded as being one of the most innovative and dynamic soft fruit businesses and is also the UK's principal IQF fruit producer making it an interesting and exciting place to be.

Based on their farm in Tunstead, Norfolk you will be responsible for overseeing all farming operations, working hard to achieve agreed financial production targets. You'll have a variety of other responsibilities including:
Developing and a successful business and operational strategy.
Implementing KPIs across quality, cost, service and people.
Working closely with customers to ensure sales maximisation and business development.
Preparing budgets and managing costs.
Managing all staff on the estate.
Identifying new business opportunities.
Making sure that all farming methods are modern and up to date to ensure maximum efficiency.

You don't necessarily need to have experience in soft fruit production, however you will be:
An excellent people person and manager who can lead, motivate and inspire teams.
Committed to driving forward and establishing a culture of continuous improvement.
Familiar in implementing innovation and driving change.
Experienced in running large scale operations.
Commercially minded
