We are working with a leading fresh produce grower located in South East Australia as they look to appoint a motivated and dynamic Farm Manager. They are a truly outstanding business that is led and run by some of the best managers in the industry. They are highly focused on sustainable agriculture and providing customers with tasty, healthy food to eat. The farm itself is situated only 30 minutes from a major city, giving you the best of both country and city life!

The Farm Manager job itself will include a number of responsibilities such as:

Growing excellent produce and taking responsibility for the quality of the crop.
Managing, motivating and developing your team so that they perform to the best of their ability.
Managing the P&L account and the farm budget.
Constantly driving continuous improvement and moving the farm forward.

Sound interesting? Then we want to hear from you if:

You have previous farm management or assistant farm management experience.
You have experience with horticultural crops/fresh produce.
You have a qualification in agriculture/horticulture or relevant subject.
You have a sound understanding of modern irrigation and Precision Ag systems.
You're a strong people manager with excellent interpersonal skills.
You are a clear and confident communicator.
You have a detailed approach.
You are go-getting and hungry for experience.
