The starting salary is £37,107 rising to £39,002 on first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time)

Nottingham City Council has an exciting opportunity within their award winning Parks and Open Spaces service.

Tree Services deliver services across a wide range of clients including Highways, Housing and Parks on a one stop basis. It also has contracts with private companies and other local authorities to provide tree services.

Tree Services are responsible for the management and maintenance of the Council's trees and woods. They also provide professional advice to other departments, promoting Council's policies as they relate to trees and woodland.

To continue our service improvements we are now looking to recruit to the post of Tree Services Programme Manager.

You will have experience working in a land based management role and understanding of a relatively discrete service area, able to guide others in best practice.

As Manager you will be responsible for developing a strong and reliable citizen focused service responding to enquiries and casework in an effective manner. Experience in line management duties dealing with multi-disciplinary teams.  Whilst being reactive to situations that need quick decision making.

You will possess project management skill set to ensure that work is completed to a high standard and within relevant timescales and to cost, allocating the most appropriate individuals to fulfil roles either through the in-house team or contracting partners.

You will be required to participate in an on call rota when needed.
