Job Details
Our client is a dynamic and interesting fresh produce company which strives to be the best in the business. We are seeking a part or fully qualified Agronomist to contribute to their technical growing team in Portugal.
You will provide growers with sound agronomic advice and guidance on issues such as crop nutrition, pests & diseases, growing techniques and compliance. You'll promote best practise and help growers in producing the best quality crop.
Your growers will be based in Portugal, neighbouring Spain and further afield so it is important that you are happy to travel.
This is an opportunity for someone who is fully FACTS & BASIS qualified or someone who is working towards these qualifications. You'll be a strong communicator and have excellent interpersonal skills. It is essential that you can speak excellent English and Spanish or Portuguese.
