Plantarea Manager / Garden Centre Horticultural Manager

Our client is a well established group garden centre who has a well stocked plantarea along with a garden shop that offers customers a range of quality gifts and garden sundries. They are currently looking for a superb plants person to run the Plant Section / Plantarea of the centre. This is a duty managers role so you will also have key holding responsibility.

The Role:

Will be to manage the plant section on a day-to-day basis, ensuring plant stock is in tip top condition and merchandised to a high standard.
Liaise with the Centre Manager on managing supplies and staff etc.
Supervising staff and ensuring that customer service is kept to a very high standard.

The Candidate:

For this role candidates must have:
A proven track record in the industry along with good man-management and supervisory skills.
Excellent plant knowledge and a good background in horticultural retailing is a must for this role.
Be a team player with the ability to offer superb customer service.
