Wholesale Plants Sales Person (Horticultural)

Working in a busy wholesale nursery that sells a wide range of nursery stock including large specimen stock to the landscape and amenity sector, you will be part of our client's busy office based sales team. They are seeking a horticulturalist who can sell to designers, landscapers and landscape architects including those creating gardens for the Chelsea Flower Show.

Essential requirements of the role:

Thorough knowledge of trees, shrubs, and herbaceous plants.
Excellent sales experience and knowledge of sales techniques.
Excellent presentation skills and attention to detail.
Good organisation skills
Good telephone manner
Good understanding of customer interface.
Excellent knowledge & experience on advising customers.
Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and to correctly prioritise work schedules.
Clean driving licence
At least 12 months previous selling experience.
Good IT Skills using Microsoft Office

Minimum Hours / Days - 42.5 hours per week 5 days per week, with every other Saturday (in place of a weekday). 8:00am to 5:00pm
Salary, dependent on qualifications, experience, and the meeting of all requirements (Essential list)
£24,000 plus generous bonus/sales commission
