Job Details
We are working with a leading grower packer of fresh produce in the retail and foodservice arena. They are looking to strengthen the Technical team with the appointment of a Quality Controller. The role will report into the Technical Manager, and the primary responsibility will be to ensure all raw material meet the required quality standards as it passes through the business as per individual customer specifications.
The Role:
Ensuring all products entering or leaving site are within specification.
Filling in quality reports
Calibration of technical equipment
Shelf life testing
Maintain technical paperwork
Writing specifications
The Candidate:
Ideally you will have been working within a QC role for the past 3 years.
You are able to make decisions on product quality and understand the commercial impact on these decisions.
Good communication skills, written, verbal & presentations.
Ability to cover all areas of the business with regards to technical / quality function.
Have a good eye for detail.
