Coventry University is looking for a motivated and experienced person to join our Estates team as the Head of Grounds and Public Realm.

The successful candidate will lead and advise on the development of the University's award-winning public realm and shared spaces, including managing and supporting our external sports facilities. They will ensure a professional, consistent and holistic approach across Grounds teams and lead in the co-ordination of the Estates contribution to special events requiring external venue provision. They will support the Sustainability team in the education of the promotion of sustainable practices to staff, students and the wider community and will provide expertise as required to research groups across the University.

Applicants will be qualified to degree level in an appropriate discipline or have equivalent managerial experience in a senior position as well as membership of appropriate professional bodies. They should have significant experience of managing numerous and varied types of staff at appropriate levels and in developing strategy and implementing processes and procedures.

Full driving licence required.
