An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Organic Gardener to join our small enthusiastic team on a beautiful, rural, family run estate near Brailes, in South Warwickshire.

This unique and varied role will require you to be proactive, creative and relish the opportunity to set up and produce high quality organically grown vegetables for consumption by the family and their guests. You will be passionate about organic / biodynamic growing methods and will be keen to work as sustainably as possible providing year-round seasonal organic vegetables, herbs and fruit.

Your role will extend to working within the grounds of the house, park and the wider estate which includes borders, lawns, mature shrubberies, greenhouses, lakes and woodlands.

The successful candidate will relish a challenge, be a team player have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and the ability to work harmoniously with the other estate employees. You will be organised, flexible, responsible and reliable with high standards and good attention to detail.

Ideally you will have formal qualifications RHS level 2 or NVQ level 2 and current relevant experience in producing organic vegetables. You will be competent in the operation of garden machinery including tractors and the basic maintenance of garden machinery. Preferably you will hold a valid chainsaw certificate, where necessary the right training will be given.

The successful candidate will hold a full driving licence.

In return we can offer you a full time permanent position and a salary commensurate with your experience.  

This is a live out position reporting directly to the Head Gardener on a day to day basis.
