Estate Grounds Gardener

Exciting opportunity for a positive, proactive and professional Grounds Estate Gardener to join a dedicated and hardworking team to maintaining and developing a private newly developed 50-acre garden/estate under the direction of the Head Gardener.

The role will involve a wide variety of practical horticultural tasks such as tree felling/lawn management hard and soft landscaping and general garden maintenance. Including mulching, hedge cutting and other estate tasks will also at times be required of you.

The successful applicant will be:

Professionally trained, experienced hands-on estate worker/horticulturist.

RHS level 2 or equivalent experience.

Good plant knowledge

Good communication skills

Chainsaw certificated

PA1-6 Certificated 

Competent in machinery/equipment use and maintenance; including tractors, chainsaws, and pedestrian mowers. Health and Safety accredited/trained.

Able to work within a team and as an individual

Working Hours: 8am to 4:30pm

Possible weekend duties

20 days Holiday per year plus bank holidays

£24,000 per/annam
