An enthusiastic and skilled gardener is required for an historic castle garden and landscape on the shore of Loch Ness. Aldourie Castle is a 5-star exclusive hire property but is privately owned and much more like a country house than a hotel.

This historic setting of great beauty comprises an arboretum, walled garden, castle garden and park extending to 200 hectares along the shore of Loch Ness. The owner is currently working with landscape designer Tom Stuart-Smith to rejuvenate the gardens.

The successful candidate will be a passionate and knowledgeable gardener, who has a good understanding of plants and horticultural techniques. They should have an HNC Horticulture (or equivalent) or above and some experience working in this type of garden. They will join the Head Gardener and a small team to help with the continuing development of this very special garden.
