Assistant Manager

We are a young but well-established gardening company specialised in servicing high profile restaurants and private clients. We’re looking for someone with a passion for plants and a creative touch. Responsibilities:

• General maintenance of container planting
• Maintenance of interior plants
• Project management and installation of new plant schemes
• Liaising with key suppliers to ensure high standards of quality are always met

Key requirements:

• Excellent horticultural knowledge and a recognised qualification
• Knowledge of interior plants is essential
• 5 years practical experience minimum
• Good communication skills (fluent in English)
• Pro-active, good communicator and good attention to detail
• Strong work ethic – happy to work in all weather conditions and physically fit
• Clean driving license of at least 3 years
• Knowledge of irrigation systems is useful
• Knowledge of plant diseases and pests is essential
• Should be open to working away from London from time-to-time, clients we service are nationwide
• Should be flexible to varying length of working days. Some of our days are long, but this will be balanced out by shorter days
