Greenslades Grounds Maintenance services include hard and soft landscaping, countryside land management, environmental and ecology management and weed control.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Contracts Manager.  The position is for the Land Management of a large construction site and associated sites. 

Experience of a similar contract on construction sites together with good knowledge of NEC3 contracts would be an advantage.  The role requires a good understanding of rigorous health and safety procedures, compiling of RAMS, permitting systems etc together with good environmental and ecology awareness.  Experience of pricing, quoting across a wide range of disciplines, tree works, agricultural operations, grassland management, fencing, ecology infrastructure and general maintenance tasks

Energetic can-do problem solving attitude with good communication skills are essential to oversee teams and motivate staff.  Ability to build and maintain working relationships, and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders.  Attendance of management meetings, compilation of reports, record keeping, updating of work programmes etc. are part of the role.

Good project management skills will be necessary, ability to be reactive in light of changes to works, re-deploy labour, make decisions, be proactive and plan works in short, medium & long term.
