Argyll and Bute Council is at the beginning of an exciting £3.5 million redevelopment project of Hermitage Park.  The project will restore and revive the Council's flagship park, based in Helensburgh.

We have developed a new way of managing Hermitage Park in partnership with our community and are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Assistant Park Supervisor to be the main 'hands-on' horticulturist within the park who can work alongside our very active Friends of Hermitage Park and wider community.

We are seeking someone with a good technical knowledge of horticulture and an enthusiasm to develop and maintain Hermitage Park and help support, train and enthuse our local community to ‘Grow our Park Together’.

You will have experience of working with members of the public and engaging with volunteers, an ability to inspire and pass on your skills and knowledge and a passion for plants.
