About us:

Glendale is a £50 million+ company delivering ‘green services’ throughout the UK. Activities include grounds management, landscaping, countryside and estates management, horticulture and arboriculture.

We have been awarded contracts to maintain areas in North London and Hertfordshire. Works include both routine and reactive maintenance and programmed civils projects.

About the role:

We now seek to recruit a Contract Supervisor to assist with the day to day running of the contracts. The successful applicant will be a proactive individual who is able to identify and implement service improvements, and support the operational teams in delivering a high quality service to our clients.

About you:

You should have a demonstrable experience of leading groups or small teams and fit into a professional yet friendly operation with an emphasis on quality. You must be able to fully focus on the requirements to maintain the very highest safety standards whilst ensuring that all stakeholder needs are at the forefront of all decisions and actions.

You will need to have good time management skills and the ability to work in a demanding environment. Enthusiasm, strong leadership skills and good communication skills are essential, as are a full driving license, the successful candidate must also be able to use various machinery to a good standard.

Supervising up to 20 people and reporting directly to the Contract Manager will enable the right applicant to grow into the position while learning and understanding the intricacies of the contracts.
