Head Grower | Lincolnshire

Are you an experienced grower of protected crops? Do you want to work for one of the largest suppliers of quality fresh produce? We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Grower to join our client's respected growing team.

As Head Grower, you will spend the majority of your time working in the glasshouse, taking the crop from seed to harvest. You'll continuously challenge the growing process to improve crop quality, manage water/energy usage and trial new crop varieties as well as the other day-to-day duties that come with a Head Grower job.

You'll also strive to stay up to date with new, ground-breaking growing techniques in order to keep our client at the forefront of the market.

The ideal person will be:

Experienced in commercial glasshouse crop production.
Have a deep understanding of pests and diseases.
Have experience of handling automated environmental control systems such as PRIVA.
Focused on sustainable food production.
