Key points

•Grass cutting with straight stripes

•Strimming

•Weeding beds and borders

•Pruning, dead heading and shrub maintenance

•Operating various horticultural machinery including, mowers, hedge cutters, blowers, strimmers, chippers, chain saws and much more

•Preparation and laying of large areas of turf

•Planting of shrubs and trees

•Ensuring that projects are completed to the high quality that our customers expect

•Following health and safety policies and procedures

•Maintenance of commercial and domestic grounds to a high standard

•Demonstrating a dynamic and hands-on approach to work

Must haves

•Good plant knowledge and understanding of correct horticultural practice

•Good practical skills in garden maintenance

•Excellent technical horticultural knowledge and practical skills

•Ability to operate various horticultural machinery

•A full UK driving licence would be desirable

Candidates should have previous experience within the landscape industry, have a passion for plants and gardening, be physically fit and have a positive, can-do approach.
