Gardens Supervisor

Coworth Park Hotel, part of Dorchester Collection, is a unique country house estate and spa set in 240 acres, on the border of Windsor Great Park.

We are currently seeking Gardeners, a Gardens Supervisor and temporary summer placements to join our team.

We are looking for positive and enthusiastic gardeners to join our existing team to assist in the day-to-day running of the gardens which include: new kitchen garden, terraces, rose garden, sunken garden, cottage garden, croquet lawn, lake, woodland, lawns and wild flower meadow, as well as small private gardens around the hotel & polo centre.

Duties include: 

Physical gardening such as hedge cutting and lawn maintenance as well as pruning, planting and bed/border maintenance.  You should be willing to carry out a range of other gardening tasks as they arise.

The role will involve weekend working on a rotational basis and you may be required to work some longer days during the summer period with more time off in the winter.

Experience required:

Attention to detail, a positive attitude and excellent communication skills are vital as you may be approached by our guests asking questions about our gardens.  You will be well presented at all times ensuring your appearance is in keeping with the five star hotel environment.

Qualifications/ Requirements:

• PA 1 PA6 are desirable
• Horticultural qualifications are beneficial
• Sound knowledge of plants
• Full driving license
• Experience with garden machinery would be ideal
