Our client is one of the leading suppliers of quality plants to the Amenity and Landscaping Industry. They produce an extensive range of plants which is supplemented with nursery stock from key suppliers to ensure they can supply a one stop shop for their landscaping clients. This wholesale nursery has an ambitious expansion and diversification plan which makes this an exciting opportunity to join them. They are currently seeking a sales representative to join the team working in the field covering an area / territory in the South of England.
Do you possess a proven track record in account management or territory sales? Can you adopt and grow an existing portfolio of clients and generate new business? Are you confident in reaching sales targets and providing a great service? If so, we would like to hear from you.
The role will be to:
To adopt and grow a base of existing amenity and landscape accounts.
To quote, estimate and price incoming enquiries from customers.
Meet with clients both on and off site.
Negotiate sales orders
Promote the company at trade shows and events.
Ideally candidates must have:
Excellent communication and negotiating skills.
Industry and product knowledge - ideally good plant/horticultural knowledge.
A confident professional manner.
A proven track record in reaching sales targets.
