Set in an historic 100-acres, the award winning gardens comprise a beautifully restored Jacobean parterre, two acre Victorian kitchen garden run to soil association organic standards as well as a more informal landscape designed by 'Capability' Brown. You'll find imaginative ways of bringing to life the stories that they tell, helping visitors of all ages to make new discoveries. Managing an enthusiastic, dedicated team of gardeners and volunteers, you'll also play an integral part in our nationwide gardens team, helping to train and inspire the gardening talent of the future.
We're looking for someone with a creative eye; high-quality garden management experience; excellent plant knowledge and horticultural skills; and a talent for leadership. You'll know how to ensure visitors enjoy their day out - from sharing your gardening knowledge, to ensuring their health and safety. Project management, ICT and budgeting skills are also a must for this busy and dynamic role.
