Would you like to work for the UK’s leading gardening charity, based in the beautiful setting of the RHS flagship garden in Surrey?
At RHS Garden Wisley we are looking to recruit a keen horticulturist with good propagation experience to join the Glasshouse Team. Based in the incredible Glasshouse, the role will primarily propagate and grow on plants for seasonal displays such as poinsettia for the Christmas display along with Pelargonium and Fuschia for summer, and other display collections. Design, build and maintenance of the seasonal displays is part of this remit, with assistance from the team.
The role requires a horticulturist with an eye for detail and creative flair as well as experience and knowledge of the glasshouse environment. You will have your own area of responsibility within the Glasshouse but will work across the team providing support for all sections, and will also give guidance to students and volunteers.
The Royal Horticultural Society is dedicated to safeguarding and advancing the science and practice of horticulture. As a charity, the RHS aims to inspire a wide range of audiences by demonstrating the wonders of gardening through all that we do including gardens and shows, in our publications and online, and through our work in the community.
