Full Time – 37 Hours per week (Applications seeking part time hours considered payable at £11 per hour)
£18,141 - £19,511 per annum (depending on experience)
30 Days annual leave + bank holidays

The vision of the College’s Facilities team is that they will provide a College environment that is attractive, safe, clean
and tidy, that meets the needs of all our students and customers. You will be part of an effective and responsive inhouse
Grounds and Estates team maintaining the college grounds, gardens and sports pitches utilising a wide range
of ride on, towed and pedestrian operated equipment. Based at our 289 Acre rural St. Albans campus, you will be
part of a team responsible for maintaining and enhancing the grounds at both college campuses’ as directed by the
Grounds and Estate Supervisor.
You will work closely with other members of the Facilities team and curriculum staff to provide a safe, wellmaintained
environment, taking a customer focused approach.
The successful candidate should have experience of working across a variety of horticultural areas including formal
gardens, borders, lawns, pasture, sports turf, landscaping and woodland management, you will need to be a team
player and take professional pride in the work you complete. Basic maintenance of grounds and grass cutting
equipment would also be beneficial.
