Our client is the market leader in horticultural categories. The business is continually evolving and is now working to deliver on an ambitious plan to 2030 and beyond expanding their portfolio of horticultural products & services.

The Horticulture division is focused on the commercial sales & marketing of horticultural products across Ireland, UK and Europe, providing innovative product and supply solutions to meet and exceed customer needs in whatever market territory and channel they can effectively compete.

The Role

Our client's Horticulture Business Unit currently wish to recruit a National Accounts Manager for a three year fixed term contract. This role will report to the Head of Commercial.

The main duties and responsibilities of the role will include the following:

Manage national accounts portfolio to maximise the value you extract from same. Develop and build relationships with existing and new customers, delivering listings and promotional implementation through increasing business and customer satisfaction.
Identify and optimise new opportunities in the market to deliver growth targets. Implement good systems of communications with key stakeholders (Procurement; Operations and Logistics; Finance) to ensure delivery of a first rate customer experience.
Provide detailed customer analysis as required to support business and market planning processes including monthly sales forecasts and weekly financial updates. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to maximise efficiencies for customer experience.
Proactively participate in the Performance Management process to ensure delivery of own, and the wider team's objectives.

The Person

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualification, skills, knowledge and attributes:
Degree in Business or related discipline is required.
Minimum of three (3) years working in a similar role within the Horticulture / Growing Media industry.
International Sales experience is desirable.
Full, clean driving licence is essential.
