Head Gardener required for The Castle of Mey on the stunning North Coast of Scotland.
An opportunity has arisen for the position of experienced Head Gardener at The Castle of Mey, a Visit Scotland 5 star attraction which is open to the public for five months from May to September.
The Head Gardener is responsible for organising their own work and also that of the under Gardener so demonstrable management experience is a bonus.
You must be experienced in garden planning, seed and plant ordering, propagation, pruning, greenhouse work and the cultivation and care of all flowers, roses, shrubs, fruit and vegetables.
The Head Gardener would be responsible for the care and maintenance of the Gardens, policies and all associated equipment, tools and machinery.
Accommodation is provided free of rent and Council Tax.
