The historic gardens of 12 acres, which are open from May to September, consist of formal lawns, box parterre, yew and hornbeam hedging, herbaceous borders, an orangery, flower garden, wilderness and shrub garden, arboretum, orchard, topiary and greenhouse.
The Head Gardener will be responsible for organising and implementing the daily management of the gardens with the assistance of an under gardener and some part-time help, reporting directly to the owners.
