BMC is a specialist vocational Further and Higher Education provider in Leicestershire, based on two main campuses – one in the heart of the lively market town of Melton Mowbray and the other on an 850-acre estate at Brooksby.

BMC was judged “Good” by Ofsted in November 2016 and our objective is to be judged an “Outstanding” college within the next five years.  As part of this journey, both our campuses have recently undergone a £27.7 million redevelopment, bringing new and improved facilities for all our students and staff.

The college has seen significant investment in practical and teaching facilities within our departments benefitting from brand new state of the art facilities.  We are proud of the fact that our student achievement is the highest in the East Midlands for 16-18 year olds across all levels and is the 3rd highest for level 3 provision.

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Training Officer to join the Horticulture Team. The post holder will be predominantly working within work based learning to manage and support apprentices to complete their apprenticeships.

A minimum of Level 3 qualification in vocational area is essential.

You will be self-motivated, ambitious, enthusiastic, confident and proactive, with excellent communication skills and a passion for creating horticulturalists for the future.
