National Sales Manager - J456
Our client is a leading manufacturer of growing sundries and composts, which supplies many of the country's top growers and has established an enviable reputation for the quality and excellence. Continued expansion of the business has created an opportunity for a person to be responsible for the further development of compost and growing media sales to garden centres, growers and other retailers throughout the UK market.
We seek a person able to increase target sales of the company's product range and continue to enhance the company's image as the leading supplier of quality products. You will call on existing and source new customers to sell and advise on the use of company products, handle any queries, attend relevant trade shows, meetings and visits; monitor competitor’s activities and manage and implement customer care initiatives.
Duties will include the recording of all visits to customers and potential customers and the forwarding of a sales report to head office on a regular basis.
The person appointed should be able to demonstrate a record of successful sales with a similar product range. However, it is felt that a thorough practical knowledge of growing media and compost markets and the ability to communicate with retailers are the most important aspect of this post. We seek highly organised and self-motivated individuals that can demonstrate the ability to build and maintain lasting customer relationships.
This role will be home based with travel throughout the UK.
