Sales Manager | Home-based in South | Good earning potential
Our client is a well established business who provide an essential product to the horticulture, agriculture and fresh produce industry. They are currently looking to recruit a Sales Manager who will be responsible for developing their sales across the country with a number of different customers. The market they operate in has healthy competition, but they have a strong USP, which they are looking to exploit further.
Actively seeking out new customers and selling the benefits of dealing with the business over their competitors.
Providing the sales support as required during the process (ongoing technical support is handed over to a dedicated team).
Keeping in close contact with existing customer to ensure their systems are still sufficient for their requirements.
Will ideally have a sales background in the horticulture / fresh produce industry, but some agriculture business development would be considered as well.
Will be self-sufficient and not need hand holding. There will be a good degree of autonomy in the role.
Will be able to sell on benefits, rather than just selling on price.
