PARK MANAGER

The Hatfield Estate (Hertfordshire) are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and hands-on Park Manager to lead our park team in organising and implementing the day-to-day up-keep of Hatfield Park. Hatfield House, the home of the Marquess of Salisbury, sits within formal Grade I listed parkland to the east of Hatfield town. The parkland extends to around 200 acres, with the role comprising some management of the wider House grounds. The role provides an exciting opportunity to lead the management of our heritage landscapes, with duties ranging from general care and maintenance of the grounds, repair of park infrastructure, management of veteran trees, machinery maintenance and investment as well as managing and deploying the park team. Candidates should be well-organised, confident and enthusiastic with the ability to establish productive working relationships and act with courtesy to members of the public and others.
