The position above provides a unique opportunity to join the Argyll Holidays Family. Located within Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park, Drimsynie Estate nestles within the mountains, and offers spectacular panoramic views across Loch Goil and the Arrochar Alps.  

With a recent multi-million pound investment, Drimsynie Estate is a 5 star holiday park offering holiday home ownership, lodge and holiday home breaks and a stunning 19 bedroom 4 star hotel.

Located on the shores of Loch Goil, the immediate surrounds  give access to fishing, boating and swimming.  The Holiday Village Estate is managed in in tune with the natural environment in order enhance the biodiversity for the wildlife on the park.  Sustaining this practice has gained Argyll Holidays the highest accolade of Gold status within the David Bellamy Conservation Award Scheme for over 14 years.

We are looking for a Landscape Gardener to join our Estate Team to help us maintain and develop our natural and landscaped grounds, comprising 64 Hectares of which 53 are sensitively landscaped, including a 15 Hectare Golf Course.  The role will involve completing general garden duties as well as having the opportunity to shape the  future vision of the holiday park.  

A passion for horticulture and the natural environment is a must and you will already have significant practical experience in improving and maintaining formal grounds, shrubbery, planters, woodland, turf and herbaceous plants.

This coupled with a keen eye for detail and a love of plants; the ability to accept responsibility for both daily and long term challenges, both expected and unexpected, and the ability to follow through to get the job done will ensure your success in the role.

A formal qualification such as Horticulture NVQ 2 (or similar) is desirable.  A full UK driving licence and experience operating a wide range of garden machinery are essential.

We’re a busy team, so self-discipline and time management skills are vital. Working closely with colleagues will be important to you, and you'll have the skills to communicate with a range of people.
