Are you an experienced soft fruit grower that is looking for your next challenge? If so, we have the perfect job for you. We are working with one of the UK's leading soft fruit companies in order to find an excellent Blueberry Grower to join the Farm Management team. Your main job as Blueberry Grower will be to grow blueberry plants that produce fruit that both looks and tastes great, delighting the customer.

The Job

As Blueberry Grower, you will manage all aspects of growing including irrigation, fertigation, husbandry, climate, P&D, staff and budgets.
You will work with the Technical team to develop crops and drive forwards innovation.
You will also be required to encourage teamwork, manage staff and develop your team's skills.

The Candidate

To become Blueberry Grower, you must be self-motivated, driven and have a genuine enthusiasm for working in the horticultural industry.
It is essential that you have a relevant qualification in agronomy, horticulture or food production as well as at least 5 years commercial growing experience, preferably blueberries.
You will have experience of protected cropping including irrigation, ventilation and frost protection.
You will have knowledge of common pests and diseases within soft fruit.
It is also vital that you have a clean UK driving licence.
