Our client is a specialist manufacturer of horticultural fertiliser and have been trading for over twenty years. Their ethos is to produce the highest quality fertilisers economically using only the finest ‘fresh’ raw materials, and to provide growers with a level of personal and technical service that is second to none. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Manager selling to and establishing key accounts in the eastern areas.
The successful candidate will be commercially minded with a proven track record in sales. They will have good communication skills and be able to establish and develop good working relationships with clients. They will be experienced in producing detailed reports and have good IT skills (Microsoft Office).
They will have knowledge of plant nutrition and fertilizer and bio-stimulant techniques/equipment. Essential attributes include strong self-motivation with the ability to work autonomously.
Willingness to travel and work (mainly outside) visiting customers, along with home-based working. Unfazed by busy, seasonal working environment. Able to learn technical aspects of products during training and independently.
A competitive salary is offered, along with a performance related bonus, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays and a company car.
