A live in experienced Gardener is required for a private estate near Stirling, Scotland to manage a very attractive historical garden that contains 10 acres of wooded policies, formal walled gardens with fruit and vegetable areas, formal lawns, box hedging and herbaceous borders. There are also two small greenhouses used for winter propagation and growing soft fruit. Applicants will need to have a suitable horticultural qualification and considerable experience of horticulture, combined with a passion for plants. Applicants will need to be self-motivated to manage the gardens in the owner’s absence. Assistance is available from a Groundsman/Handyman. Other duties will include occasional driving and the care of ponies/dogs. You will ideally have a chainsaw and spray certificates and a full clean driving licence. Two bedroom accommodation with own garden available.
