The Planting Manager is responsible for the sourcing and planting of plants for specific projects. Plants will need to be purchased, delivered and quality inspected before planting by you and the on-site planting team – when required. Projects could be in South West / Central / North West London or the Home Counties.

This position would primarily be an on-site role, with short periods in the office to order plants and plan forthcoming projects. The role would suit someone with hands-on experience both in horticulture and team management. You will be responsible for ensuring that all plants, equipment and staff are in the right place at the right time and the work is completed within the timetable set.

You will be required to supervise, motivate and lead staff in the provision of a top-quality planting and liaising with clients are completely satisfied with our service. You will need to be able to plan efficiently, think on your feet and be able to use initiative to problem solve. Reliability is essential.

In time, you will need to develop an offering for planting schemes like planters, borders, etc. to pitch to the existing client database, also with the support of visual materials for the most popular design solutions.

A full, clean driving license is required as you may be required to collect plants from nurseries or drive to sites. You will need at least 3 years relevant experience and a horticultural qualification.
