Are you experienced both Technically and in the NPD department? A logical thinker but just as creative? Well we're looking for this hybrid superstar to take on the role of NPD Technical Manager within a well-established exciting company based in Cambridgeshire.

The Job

You will be the first line of contact for the retailer NPD and technical functions.
You will coordinate the NPD process through from the customer specifications to the product launch, managing the teams and any problems on a daily basis.
You will lead customer communication for sample requests, checking customer availability and sample deliveries.
You will identify new opportunities and trends for customers and aim to consistently meet their objectives.
You will supervise the teams when applicable ensuring KPI's are being reached and everyone is enthusiastic about their job role.

The Candidate

You'll be an excellent communicator confidently ensuring that the customer is kept informed of progress throughout the relevant projects.
Great at building long term relationships with the customer and teams.
To be a big thinker to the future and provide the teams with gap analysis as well as new concepts and ideas to generate NPD ideas, enthusiasm and exciting new prospects.
Work alongside and support the key and technical accounts managers.
Have a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
Have previous experience in a similar role within NPD and Technical in the FMCG industry.
