National Sales Manager | Brand Focussed | Field Based
We are working exclusively with a large national brand that is a market leader in the gardening industry. They are looking for a talented Sales Manager to join, lead and redevelop their Sales team. This is a strategic appointment and the position will have the scope to grow and develop within the business.
This job's primary focus will be to drive sales in the independent garden centres.
You will support the Sales team in creating profitable business growth.
You will be given the opportunity to redefine the organisation of the current sales staff, using analytics as guide fully optimise the current and future sales resource.
This will allow you to deliver a product and service that is consistent with the brand image and the company message.
The role could be based anywhere but will need access into the central UK head office.
We are looking first and foremost for a leader, who is an excellent communicator and can influence internal and external stakeholders easily no matter their background.
You must be an experienced Sales Manager who can lead by example and has the track record to prove their acumen.
The company is looking to add an ambitious long term employee who has the drive to add value and wants the opportunity to grow with the business.
Applicants should preferably be of graduate calibre but actual qualifications will take a backseat to excellent experience. The only exception would be numeracy skills which must be proven and excellent.
Experience in the market would be ideal but we are looking for the right person, not the right CV. Previous experience in physical product sales would be advantageous.
