A competent, self motivated and well organised individual with the ability to work with minimum supervision is required to join our Development Management Team to provide a full range of specialist tree advice and support related to Tree Preservation Orders, works to trees in Conservation areas, and High Hedges.

You will be managing and processing a caseload of tree applications, so good organisational and time management skills is essential. You will be providing specialist advice to residents, undertaking site visits and providing recommendation reports.

There will also be opportunities to work with our Parks Tree Officer and others to contribute to parks and open spaces improvement projects, whilst providing expert arboriculture advice where required, including contributing towards a review of our Tree Management Strategy.

The successful candidate will be qualified in arboriculture to minimum NVQ level 3 or equivalent, have experience in a similar role,  a good working knowledge of the relevant policies, principles, and procedures relating to trees in planning, and a valid full driving licence.
