This is a temporary position with a passionate and innovative company that breeds berries. You won't be working out in the field but you will play a key part in taking ownership of this temporary position by providing day-to-day support to the whole breeding program with a highly respected horticultural business. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to get your foot in the door to one of the world's leading breeders and suppliers of soft fruit.

The Job

You will be supporting and training users on the breeding database system.
You will be implementing reporting functions in the breeding database system.
You will be supporting the use of special breeding hardware like label printers and mobile devices.
You will be contributing to the development of the breeding database system and surrounding tools.
You will take on the responsibility of system security, data auditing and user administration.

The Candidate

We would ideally like someone who is keen, with the ambition to fulfil a career in the FMCG industry.
You will already have some database administrator experience or similar.
You will understand and have worked with relational databases such as ORACLE and SQL.
The eagerness and drive to work for an international company.
Proven experience of problem solving and making use of analytical and statistical skills.
Most importantly, however, you will have a positive, can-do attitude and a high attention to detail.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 pro rata
