The Role

An excellent opportunity has come about for an experienced Engineer to provide preventative and breakdown maintenance in order to ensure the delivery of a successful operation. There is also a requirement to monitor and investigate opportunities for continuous improvements in the equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities:
To carry out a programme of PPM and condition monitoring to the key machinery across the manufacturing functions, to make sure it runs as safely and efficiently as possible.
To ensure continuous improvement and CapEx programmes are carried out on time and within budget.
Prioritise activities to ensure the response time to breakdowns is rapid and the equipment 'up time' is maximised.

The Candidate

You will be an experienced Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias, ideally with experience in the Food / FMCG sector. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential and you must be comfortable with working under pressure and to deadlines.
