Forage Sales - Northern England
We have several vacancies for determined sales people to become forage sales specialists in the North of England. Our client is a forward thinking employer with a successful range of branded products including forage seed and forage preservatives etc which are directed primarily, but not exclusively, at serving the needs of dairy farmers as they seek to reduce their costs of production.
These posts involve the motivating and influencing of general sales teams at sales meetings and on a "one to one" basis in order to promote the forage range. This will be done by providing both commercial and technical support as well as managing own ledger farm accounts in the county.
The successful applicants will have previous experience of sales to ruminant farmers and an interest in joining the increasingly important "production from forage" market where the opportunities for career growth are significant. Previous experience of the forage market will be useful but is not essential.
The roles can be either largely field based or largely office based according to the preference of the successful candidate. Farm visits will be an important part of the sales and support process but cost effective use of the telephone and internet will also be expected.
