Trainee/Internship - Growing Roles - S435
Our client has been established in Dubai since 1988 in providing a diverse range of services that includes, pools & waterscapes, landscaping; plants capes, golf course construction, garden centres, nurseries, turf machinery & products, trade and construction. The nursery, established 10 years ago, covers over 10 million square feet in the UAE and 5 million square feet of nursery land located overseas, they stock a wide selection of plants ranging from exotic and ornamental species to a selection of native (UAE) plants.
A number of exciting training opportunities within the production department have become available. There are a number of different areas of production offering internships for candidates looking to further develop a career within the commercial growing sector.
Available areas are: Groundcover & Vines, Seasonal Flowers & Herbs, Water Plants, Trees, Palms, Shrubs.
We seek candidates who have a formal horticultural qualification to a high level and previous production experience within a commercial nursery is highly desirable. You should be passionate about plants and have excellent production knowledge as well as experience with various propagation techniques, especially within your chosen area of growing. Candidates must be adaptable, excellent communicators and have a strong ability to learn.

A salary of $1,500 per month is offered, accommodation for a period of 1 month will be provided (housing allowance will be a part of the salary package).
Working hours are 5 days a week (Sunday to Thursday) from 8 am to 5:30 pm (30 minutes lunch break)
