The Energy & Environment display team is evolving and we are seeking a talented & enthusiastic Account Manager to drive our business forward; build strong relationships with new and existing key clients across the Energy & Environment sector.
Our portfolio consists of a diverse range of market leading brands including; Horticulture Week, Planning, ENDS, ENDS Europe, Windpower Monthly and Smarter Living.
The revenue scope of this role will include, but is not limited to, advertising, native print and digital content solutions, lead generation, awards and forum sponsorship across our media products and platforms. This role requires someone who is capable of working with clients and agencies at the most senior level, as well as liaising with senior editorial and brand colleagues and working alongside our award-winning creative solutions delivery team.
As an Energy & Environment Account Manager you will have proven sales experience with the confidence to sell across a diverse range of industries simultaneously.
Your primary area of responsibility will be developing revenues and generating new business on Horticulture Week. There will also be opportunities to play an important part in working on exciting new projects across the rest of the E&E portfolio.
There is a strong emphasis on face-to-face client interaction with this role. You will have the ability to source and develop relationships with senior-level decision makers. You will be tasked with creating and maintaining an unrivalled profile within the sector through direct meetings, exhibitions, conferences and other networking events is a crucial part of the role.
With a proven track record of generating new revenues and increasing existing revenues, you will be expected to secure long-term, high-yielding contracts from your client using a combination of both bespoke and off-the-shelf solutions.
To be successful in this role you will need to get under the skin of your client-base. Gathering a clear understanding of their businesses objectives and have the creativity to create bespoke solutions for individual clients. Collaboration with other departments is key to your success in this role and therefore strong interpersonal skills are imperative
