Based in the East of England, our client is a very dynamic and progressive supplier of flowers and house plants to the retailers and are looking to recruit a Grower Manager. Ideally candidates would have some agronomy experience; this could either be field agronomy or glasshouse experience. The client has a very strong focus on development and product innovation and is constantly trialling new varietes of all crops that they grow.
Ideal candidate
- It would be expected that the ideal candidate would have experience in managing a team of site based grower managers
- Capable of interpreting the needs of the business and customer and driving change in line with these needs
- Working knowledge of growing / agronomy particularly in a protected cropping environment
