Our client is building a 5 star hotel on the Hampshire / Berkshire border and we are looking for an experienced vegatable grower to join them.
The role of the Market Gardener will be to look after 4 acres of vegetable gardens which will include glasshouses, and polytunnels, plus a newly planted orchard with around 160 trees. The soil preparation work has been completed.
The fruit and vegetables grown are obviously for use for hotel guests but the client would like to expand the sale to local shops and marketplaces.
Candidates for this post must have previous experience of growing fruit and vegetable for the retail trade and/ or for top end commercial usage.
