Cadogan Estates occupies some 90 acres of prime estate in Chelsea. Included within the estate are twelve individual gardens of approximately 10 acres together with three tennis courts.
The main purpose of the role is to assist in maintaining the gardens and squares, including occasional maintenance of tennis courts.
You will be required to meet the overriding objective which is to provide gardens of high quality to residents and enhance value in the long-term.
To meet this objective the gardener will be expected to operate as part of a team working within the gardens and squares to provide and maintain a high level of cultivation.
Your duties will include the maintenance of gardens and grassed areas and the upkeep all shrub areas and flower beds on the estate.
To be successful, you must demonstrate an ability to follow written and verbal instruction, (meeting deadlines as required); be capable of working flexibly; and possess experience of undertaking a range of horticultural tasks to an agreed standard.
You must also demonstrate an ability to operate grounds maintenance machinery and equipment; own a current clean driving licence; and possess or give commitment to complete a level 2 qualification in amenity/landscape horticulture or related discipline, or a relevant trade qualification.
