Our client operates principally in the “Prestige” Landscape Design & Build market creating bespoke gardens for discerning clients with budgets ranging from £100k up to £2m. We are looking to recruit experienced Project Managers.

 

Reporting to the Director, they will be required to manage the ISO Quality procedures of the projects and manage the Health and Safety and Environmental requirements for their projects to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation.

 

A proven track record of problem solving at both design and construction stages and a broad and detailed knowledge of construction techniques and project programming will be among the strengths of successful candidates. They will be able to demonstrate experience in negotiating contract variations with the client’s representative, write quotations, order materials and manage the project finances to ensure that projects are delivered on budget and on time.

 

They will have an understanding of engineering, drainage and construction methods and must have experience of managing multiple sites and co-ordinating sub-contractors and ensuring that all projects are resourced appropriately with labour and materials. Setting out and management skills together with an understanding of horticulture are also required. Potential interviewees will be required to provide a portfolio of works they have completed.
