Job: Sales / Propagation Coordinator, MorePeople

Our client is a very progressive and successful
south coast based horticultural business. They
supply to some of the leading UK multiple retailers and have a newly created post they wish to fill, Propagation Coordinator.

The SUCCESSFUL candidate will be responsible for:

• Working closely with the production manager to assist in the propagation of a wide range of young plants for own use and sale to other nurseries.
• Liaising with sales and Account Managers to insure customers specifications, deliveries etc are met
• Quality control work at the propagation stages of the growing procedure to insure quality is kept high.
• Supervision of staff within the propagation department
• Essentially this role will be to be the Young Plants contact point/account manager/sorter outer! 

The IDEAL person will possess:

• Relevant commercial horticultural experience preferably within propagation
• Experience in supervising teams of people
• The ability to make quick decisions and work under pressure
• Good eye for detail and knowledge of quality issues
• Good communication skills and the ability to liaise with customers
• A dynamic, self starter attitude
