Our client is a horticultural supplier of plants, bulbs, seeds and gardening products directly to the public and to garden centres nationwide. They are at the forefront of product innovation and development. 

The position of Product Manager is a temporary post covering maternity leave of 15 months. The SUCCESSFUL candidate will be responsible for: • Implementation of the three year marketing plan on growing media including development and improvement of the product range and communications • Recommending and implementing plans for developing the portfolio in order to meet consumer and customer needs • In conjunction with Head of Marketing, implement and manage PR and marketing strategy to ensure the range obtains maximum exposure within the market place • Communicating the benefits of the client to trade and consumer • Development of both seed, bulb and horticultural offer • Working with the technical team/procurement team to introduce new varieties and technologies

The IDEAL person will possess: • Experience within a similar marketing/product management role • History of working within a horticultural business • Excellent communication and sales ability
