Tree Officer

£26,067 - £29,728 pa, plus essential car user allowance

37 hours per week, 3 year contract

This post has been created to raise standards in the management andmaintenance of trees. This will involve working across large parts of the nationalforest, and include working 2 days a week at North West Leicestershire.

We are looking for a highly motivated, dynamic individual to help:

•  Deliver high quality maintenance and inspections for trees in our parksand open spaces
•  Provide tree and landscaping advice to planning services
•  Maintain and develop our GIS and tree database
•  Raise standards across the service

To be successful you will need: 

• An arboricultural qualification
•  Experience of working in a planning service
•  A good knowledge of tree management
•  Tree assessment skills
•  Excellent communication skills
