Tree Officer
£26,067 - £29,728 pa, plus essential car user allowance
37 hours per week, 3 year contract
This post has been created to raise standards in the management andmaintenance of trees. This will involve working across large parts of the nationalforest, and include working 2 days a week at North West Leicestershire.
We are looking for a highly motivated, dynamic individual to help:
- Deliver high quality maintenance and inspections for trees in our parksand open spaces
- Provide tree and landscaping advice to planning services
- Maintain and develop our GIS and tree database
- Raise standards across the service
To be successful you will need:
- An arboricultural qualification
- Experience of working in a planning service
- A good knowledge of tree management
- Tree assessment skills
- Excellent communication skills
