Location Frome Town Council, Frome, Somerset

Salary NJC SCP 34 – 38 (£27,594 - £30,598) per annum - 37 hours per week

Final Salary Pension Scheme

Would you like to be the driving force behind the continued development of Frome Town Councils green spaces and properties?

Frome Town Council is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join its management team in the role of Grounds and Properties Manager. Success in this role will depend on the postholder’s ability to balance developing and implementing Council policy with managing the sections workforce as well as being able to encourage greater community and volunteer involvement and maximising inward capital investment in the Councils green spaces.

Previous Local Authority experience in a horticulture/parks/landscape management role would be an advantage, as well as experience of working with community groups, children and volunteers.  The successful candidate must also possess strong leadership qualities together with excellent communication, people, budget and project management skills.

This position is subject to a full Criminal Records Bureau check.
